Today, we mourn the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The thoughts and prayers of Radford Semele Parish Council and the whole community are with the Royal Family at this time.

We know this loss will be felt deeply by many people in our community.

Her Majesty The Queen served our nation for seventy years, earning the respect, admiration and love of her people. The Platinum Jubilee celebrations earlier this year were a testament to our heartfelt affection for her.

This will be a difficult time for us all but one in which we can look back on The Queen’s remarkable life of service and mourn her death.

We will be placing a book of condolence in the foyer of the Village Hall and invite any member of the public to lay flowers on the green outside the shop in Lewis Road in memory of Queen Elizabeth.

My Best Regards

Stan Sabin
