The top four options voted for by the public have been adopted. 

  • School Safety/Parking Patrols – Radford Semele CofE Primary School: Following concern raised from the local community, WRE SNT to conduct a minimum of 10 dedicated high-visibility patrols during school drop-off/collection times to prevent/detect road related offences that could pose an issue/danger to children’s safety when travelling to/from school, to educate motorists/members of the public on road safety and to reassure the local community.

  • School Safety/Parking Patrols – Cubbington CofE Primary School and Our Lady & St. Teresa’s RC Primary School: Following concern raised from the local community, WRE SNT to conduct a minimum of 10 dedicated high-visibility patrols (5 patrols at Cubbington and 5 patrols at OLST) during school drop-off/collection times to prevent/detect road related offences that could pose an issue/danger to children’s safety when travelling to/from school, to educate motorists/members of the public on road safety and to reassure the local community.

  • High-Visibility Patrols to Prevent/Detect Road Related Offences – Birmingham Road, Stoneleigh: Due to concern within the community about vehicle speed, contravention of the 2.5t weight restriction and other road related issues on Birmingham Road, Stoneleigh, WRE SNT to conduct a minimum of 10 dedicated high-visibility patrols to prevent/detect road related offences and to engage with the local community. SNT activity will be to reduce/prevent speeding, contraventions of the 2.5t weight restriction, to educate motorists/members of the public on road safety and to reassure the local community.

  • High-Visibility Foot/Mobile Reassurance Patrols – Baginton: Due to a number of reported incidents in the Baginton area, WRE SNT to conduct a minimum of 10 dedicated high-visibility foot/mobile patrols in Baginton. SNT activity will be to prevent/detect offences and provide reassurance to the local community.

Thank you to all who supported the poll, of the 655 votes cast, 45% were in support of Radford Semele School Safety patrols.
