I was co-opted to the Parish Council in 2004 and have remained a Parish Councillor since then. I have over the intervening years been on several committees, but for many years now have been on the Planning Committee. I am also the Parish Council representative on the Sports & Social Club Committee.
I moved to Radford Semele in 1995 from Southam, when my wife and I married. Together we ran our own business of selling, repairing and fitting cookers from our two shops, until I retired.
For about 8 years I was a Special Constable in the local area, rising to the position of Section Officer and working with regular officers two nights a week for the whole of that time.
The village of Radford Semele has existed for many centuries and it has always been my wish to help promote what we have and work to improve our village for future generations. Our village identity has always been of paramount importance to me and I feel that through my involvement with the Parish Council I can help achieve this.
My passion is gliding, which I have been involved in for about 5 years and I am a member of Shenington Gliding Club.
